That which was is no longer, what is now may seem a mystery, but what is left are everlasting memories of the beauty and faithfulness of a life, Charles Ferrell that is now at rest – this is the nature of things.

This is how it has been, how it is and how it will continue to be until the final sentence on the last page of this book of life is written.

One must understand that this work is by the hand of Jehovah, a presence whose ways are not as other ways that sees all things not merely as they are but in the way that he created them to be.

Ferrell was born on Aug. 27, 1967, to the proud parents of Charlie Jackson and Annie Lee Ferrell in Atmore.

He was an anticipating graduate of Escambia County High School. Charles was self employed and in his leisure he enjoyed dancing and spending time with family and friends.

Ferrell transitioned from time to eternity on Fri., Oct. 9, 2020. He is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Jackson; grandmother, Vanner Mae Ferrell; and brother, Herman Ferrell.

Those to forever cherish Ferrell’s legacy and wonderful memories are two children, Andria Williams and Shacarra Ferrell; a loving mother, Annie Lee Ferrell; mother of his children, Rosie Williams; one sister, Gwendolyn Ferrell; two brothers, Willie Ferrell and Joseph (Jeannie) Ferrell; sister in law, Mary Ann Hooks; four grandchildren, Tray Quan Hartley, Zariah Ferrell, Jaylen Robins and Calvin Wilson; nieces and nephews, Lamont Hooks, Don Taylor, Ja’Corey Ferrell, Joseph Ferrell Jr., Joshua Ferrell, Ashley Hooks, Ieshia Hooks, Tameshia Hooks and LaTorrey Ferrell; special friends, Janice Grant, Lil Dave Mitchell, Curtis Tucker, Terry Montgomery and Tony Robinson; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were family and friends, and inhumation service was held at Fairview Cemetery.

Mayberry Funeral Home of Atmore was in charge of services.
