EA head volleyball coach Larry Bonds said this morning that the girls are excited about today’s match.

“They took a picture before they left at 8 a.m., and they were all real excited about coming up here,” Bonds said. “Hopefully, we’ll do well.”

Bonds said the key today is to hit service points.

“Against Abbeville, we had 15 service errors, and when we played Crenshaw and beat them, we only had six,” he said. “Our serves are a key point for us.”

Bonds said the entire team is looking forward to today’s play, and hopefully the girls will make a good showing for the area.

If the Lady Cougars win their first match today, they’ll advance to the Final Four at 2 p.m.

First serve today is at noon.
