The Atmore Veterans of Foreign Wars is dedicating and unveiling “The MOH Recipients” road signs naming Highway 31 from Atmore to Brewton after two of Escambia County’s Medal of Honor recipients.

The dedication will be held on Sat., Dec. 5, 2020 at 10 a.m., at Atmore’s Veterans monument in front of city hall.

The signs will be located along Highway 31 from Atmore to Flomaton, and then from Flomaton to Brewton.

The Medal of Honor recipients are William Seay and Sidney Manning.

In case of inclement weather, the dedication will be held in the city hall auditorium.

Social distancing and masks are required.
