MOH dedication to be held at city hall

The Atmore Veterans of Foreign Wars is dedicating and unveiling “The MOH Recipients” road signs naming Highway 31 from Atmore to Brewton after two of Escambia County’s Medal of Honor recipients.
The dedication will be held this Sat., Dec. 5, 2020 at 10 a.m., in Atmore City Hall’s auditorium because of the threat of inclement weather.
The signs will be located along Highway 31 from Atmore to Flomaton, and then from Flomaton to Brewton.
The Medal of Honor recipients are William Seay and Sidney Manning.
Social distancing and masks are required while inside of the auditorium, officials said.
