Mrs. Myrtle Dolores Combs, 82, passed away on Sat., Nov. 28, 2020 in Jackson, Miss.
Mrs. Combs was a native of Macon, Ga., former resident of Brooksville, Fla. and Atmore and had resided in Brandon, Miss. for the past two years.
She was a chaplain with the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, Alabama chapter and member of the Red Hat Society. She was a retired CNA, former dispatcher with the Atmore Police Department and former member of the Lottie Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Norton.
She is survived by one son, Keith Arnold (Kim Huffman) of Pensacola, Fla.; one daughter, Denise (Shannon) Pharris of Brandon; seven grandchildren, Kristie Norton, Douglas Norton, Brandon Arnold, Judd Arnold, Kent Howard, Gage Pharris and Tyler Combs; and numerous step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services will be held this Sat., Dec. 5, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
