Mr. Kenneth Rogers Saucer, 80, of Goodway Junction, passed away on Sun., Dec. 6, 2020 at his home. 

Mr. Saucer was a lifelong resident of Monroe County.

He was a farmer and rancher for many years. Mr. Saucer was a member of Mineola Baptist Church. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ulan Z. Saucer and Delia Rigby Saucer; his brothers, Willie Wesley Saucer and Floyd Jefferson Saucer and wife, Jeanette Arnett Saucer; and his grandson, Toby Hilton. 

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Myra Jaye Saucer of Goodway Junction; his son, Johnny Rogers Saucer and wife, Redetha “Dee” of Goodway Junction; his daughter, Robbin Saucer Rowell and husband, Eddie of Ollie; his sister in law, Nellie Rae Boatwright Saucer of Goodway; four grandchildren, T.J. Hilton, Hunter (Katlyn) Saucer, Kellie H. (Josh) Simpson and Matthew Rowell; and three great-grandchildren, Kinzley Little, Brayden Hilton and Harper Marie Saucer.

Funeral services will be held today, Wed., Dec. 9, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry Wilson and the Rev. Jeff Kirchharr officiating. 

Entombment will follow in Junction Community Cemetery in Goodway Junction. Visitaiton will be Dec. 9, 2020 from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be T.J. Hilton, Josh Simpson, Hunter Saucer, Matthew Rowell, Greg Salter and Clayton Coon. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Brown, Carl McMillian and Danny Hadley.
