Escambia County defeated T.R. Miller 76-46 in the opening round of the boys’ county basketball tournament tonight.

Sheldon Williams led the Blue Devils with 19 points. Tyson Moore contributed with 15 points.

Hakeem Johnson had 14 points.

Escambia County’s Jacob Dirden added 10 points in the win.

ECHS outscored TRM 24-12 in the first period, and 21-5 in the second.

Darrius Webb led TRM with 13 points.
