Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The beginning of the year is always busy.

Frequently, when we’re out and about, we’re asked how things are going?

We often reply with, in my case, “we’re trying to keep busy” or “been busy as of late.”

That’s especially true for right now.

Here at The Atmore Advance, we’re gearing up for our upcoming special promotions, including the health and wellness section, which is in today’s paper; the Escambia County Bridal Magazine; a Black History section; and the feast le resistance (I think that’s right), our annual Progress edtion. Oh, and we’re also gearing up for our winter @MORE magazine.

Each publication, or section, has a specific list of tasks that need accomplishing.

For example, for our Bridal magazine, we’ve begun distributing questionnaires to area and local brides who have gotten married in 2020.

When the brides submit the questionnaires, it’s then our task to put them into a story for our readers.

Then, once we get the editorial side of things accomplished, we design the magazine and send it to the printer.

We’re looking forward to completing each section for our readers, and hope that y’all will enjoy our efforts in bringing them to you.
