APD seeking info on vehicle theft

Three vehicles were stolen from Johnson Ford Jan. 29, according to the Atmore Police Department.

Chief Chuck Brooks said at approximately 9:30 p.m. last Friday, a car pulled up and several individuals forced their way into the dealership and took several keys to the cars.

Brooks said three vehicles – a 2020 Ford F-250 Lariat, a 2021 Ford F-250 Platinum and a 2019 Yukon Denali – were stolen from the lot.

He said the vehicles haven’t been recovered, and the APD is actively investigating the case right now.

Brooks said on the morning of Jan. 30, Johnson Ford employees discovered that the vehicles were missing and called the police.

Those who know the whereabouts of the stolen vehicles or who allegedly committed the act are asked to call the APD at 251-368-9141.
