Mrs. Carolyn Elizabeth Whittington, 78, passed away on Mon., Feb. 8, 2021 in Bay Minette.

Mrs. Whittington was a native and former resident of Bay Minette, and had resided in Lottie for the past 59 years. Mrs. Carolyn was a homemaker and loved caring for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved arts and crafts.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Roy S. Whittington; parents, Jessie Jake and Millie C. Bell; and three brothers, Cleveland Bell, Huey Bell and Earl Ray Bell.

She is survived by her two sons, David Whittington of Lottie and Steve (Deborah) Whittington of Stockton; three daughters, Becky (Rodney) Boyington of Lottie, Lynn (David) Bishop of Fairhope and Sandra Whittington of Lottie; one sister, Katherine Bethea of Spanish Fort; 11 grandchildren, Deanda (Danny) Hartley, Amber Bartley, Dara Plant, Kevin Boyington, Kayla (James) Long, Kevin Whittington, Ashley Banks, Erica (Drew) Minchew, Bradley Whittington, Lawrence (Leslie) Bishop and Darrell Bishop; and 11 great-grandchildren, Devon Hartley, Savannah Bruton, Lily van der Vlist, Karsen Plant, Maesyn Plant, Hadley Bishop, Hudson Bishop, Zoey Banks, Zayne Long, Victoria Minchew and Gracie Minchew.

Funeral services will be held this Sat., Feb. 13, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Lee Harville and Bro. Malcolm Harrelson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Lottie New Home Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Feb. 13, 2021 from 1 p.m. until service time at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Lawrence Bishop, Darrell Bishop, Bradley Whittington, Kevin Whittington, Darrell McDowell and Darrell Ledkins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Karsen Plant, David Bishop, Rodney Boyington and Kevin Boyington.

The family has requested social distancing and mask.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC in Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
