Escambia County’s boys basketball team is riding to its Class 4A southwest regional today by charter bus due to contributions from Atmore community members and businesses.

The Blue Devils are traveling to Tuscaloosa, where they’ll face Holt tonight at 6. ECHS needs to win the next two games to garner a berth in the Final Four next week in Birmingham.

ECHS players and coaches are taking a Wright’s Charters Inc. bus.

Those who contributed to the effort include Robby and San Etta Jaye, Diamond Oil, David’s Catfish House, Popeyes, Mayor Jim Staff and Shawn and Hope Lassiter.
