Mrs. Joyce Annette Smith, 60, passed away on Wed., March 3, 2021 in Daphne.

Mrs. Smith was born in Bay Minette and had resided in Stapleton for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Milton Wayne Smith; parents, Clarence and Mildred Phillips; brother, William Elliott “Billy” Phillips; and two sisters, Marell Thompson and Molley Phillips.

She is survived by her three sons, Elvin (Michelle) Pruette of Stapleton, Milton Shane (Tammy) Smith of Pine Grove and Micah Smith of Stapleton; two daughters, Moriah Smith of Stapleton and Charlotte (Michael) Wright of Robertsdale; three brothers, G.W. Phillips of Stapleton, Curtis Phillips of Stapleton and Wyatt (Rita) Phillips of Stapleton; four sisters, Elsie May Jones of Stapleton, Myra Stokes of Stapleton, Tempy Phillips of Stapleton and Cindy (Wayne) Rider of Pine Grove; 13 grandchildren, Shadow, Blaze, Sprying, Kyle, Brett, Jeremy, Alyssa, Kaylee, Bryce, Amilia, Morgan, Jack, Railey, Leylani and Charlee; three great-grandchildren, Anna Rose, Liam and Dominic; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held today, Mon., March 8, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Stapleton Church of God with Bro. J.P. Lambeth officiating.

Burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be held today from 1 p.m. until service time at the Stapleton Church of God.

Pallbearers will be Dylon Tyree, Scott Byrd, Mike Jones, Bailey Seniter, Patrick Reynolds and Logan Little.
