Mary Yvonne Milstead Coon, 85, of Oak Grove, Fla. passed away on March 4, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Hilton and Lillie Belle Ziglar Milstead; her husband, William Peter Coon; her siblings, Frances Hanks, Helen Haddock and Howard Milstead.

She is survived by her sons, William Kevin (Jannette) Coon of Oak Grove and Lawrence Peter (Betty) Coon of Oak Grove; her daughters, Kathryn (Raymond “Eddie”) Roach of Bratt, Fla., Dr. Pamela (Robert “Bob”) Gibbs Jr. of Monroeville, Susan (David) Underwood of Pensacola, Fla. and Zelda Berry of Oak Grove; her sister, JoAnn (James “Butch”) White of Oak Grove; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service was held on March 8, 2021 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Brian Calhoun and Pastor Glenn Coon officiating.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
