Ozella Wright Vandenberg, 98, passed away on April 29, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Melvin Vandenberg; her brothers, John Velpoe Wright and Donald Leon Wright; and three nieces, Gloria Wright Weldon, Melissa Tingle Morris and Stacey Weldon Carter.

She is survived by three brothers, Jack (Yevonne) Wright of Atmore, Ryan Wright of Vestavia Hills and Bryan Wright of Tucker, Ga.; 10 nieces and nephews; and many other close friends and family.

Funeral service was held on May 1, 2021 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tim Tew and Rev. James Hill officiating.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
