Mr. Willie “Woobie” Stacey of Rabun, died peacefully on May 2, 2021 at his home in Rabun. 

He is survived by the mother of his children, Cheryl Alford of Pensacola, Fla.; his two children, Willie “D’Wayne” (Stephanie) Stacey of Anchorage, Alaska and Dana (Christi “That Girl”) Stacey of Bay Minette; seven grandchildren, Kassidy (Derick), Angel, Cameron, Katelyn, Charlie, Ty Logan and Aubree; one unborn great-grandson, D.J. Brand; two brothers, Bob (Lorri) Stacey and Bo Stacey; three sisters, Joyce Hadley, Carolyn (Danny) Hadley and Diane (Don) Sanks; one sister in law, Rose Stacey; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luzell and Letha Mae Stacey; brother, Elbert Stacey; and sisters Marie Hadley and Jeanette Chafin, all of Rabun. 

Graveside services will be held this Sun., May 9, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Dean Cemetery with Rev. Don Sanks officiating.
