EA holds baccalaureate service

What’s the blueprint of your life?
That was the key question posed to then future graduates of Escambia Academy during the Canoe School’s baccalaureate service at First Baptist Church in Atmore on May 16.
Headmaster Hugh Fountain gave the messaged to the seniors, who helped lead the service.
Fountain said the blueprint serves as a pattern and guide to their lives.
Fountain said faith, hope and love are three words the graduates need to hold onto at all times.
“God is the leader over the blueprint of our lives,” Fountain said. “He doesn’t want to fail you, but to prosper you.”
Pastor Dr. Kevin Garrett gave the opening invocation and scripture reading; EA seniors Avery Mims welcomed family and friends; Caleb Davis read from Jeremiah; Austin Washington provided special music; Gabby Williams said an intercessory prayer for the class; and TJ Riley provided the benedication.
EA’s graduation is slated for Tues., May 18, at First Baptist Church in Bay Minette.
