Stuart Dewayne Burrell was born Nov. 11, 1958 in Nokomis to the late Rev. David Burrell and Moverne B. Barnes.

He transitioned from time to eternity on June 14, 2021 at his residence.

His sisters preceded him in death, Cynthia King and Debra Burrell; maternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Martha Burrell, and the late Deacon Raymond and Mary Barron.

Stuart leaves to cherish his loving memories his heart broken sister, Brenda Mathis of Powder Springs, Ga.; brother, Maurice Burrell; nieces, Quanette (Tim) Crenshaw, Lakeisha Leslie, Julia Reeves and Latoya McDaniel; nephews, Shawn (Jeanelle) Barron, Derrick Barron, Eric Barron and Keith Barron; special cousin, Shirley Brown; special aunt, Agnes Wilson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

Internment was held on June 21, 2021 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ministry of comfort was entrusted to Mayberry Funeral Home of Atmore.
