Mrs. Jessie Mae Fisher, 89, of Atmore (Nokomis Community) answered the master’s call at her home in Nokomis on Wed., June 23, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Fisher; her parents, Isom Sr. and Winnie Curry; two sons, Ronald Fisher and Juanito Fisher; and a grandson, Naldo “Red” Weaver.

Those left to cherish beautiful memories of her life are her children, Barbara Fisher, Valerie Fisher Jemison and Ricardo Fisher, all of Atmore; two sisters, Edna Kimbrough of Boilingbrooks, Ill. and Dorothy Stewart of Bellwood, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Walk through viewing will be this Fri., July 2, 2021 from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be this Sat., July 3, 2021 at noon at Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church in Nokomis with the Rev. Dennis Stephens, pastor and Elder Austin Kidd, eulogist. Retirement of her remains will be in the Mt. Shiloh Cemetery- Nokomis with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
