A mobile home was damaged in a fire on July 4, according to officials.

Atmore Fire Chief Ronald Peebles said Tuesday that the department received the call at 12:36 a.m. on Independence Day, and cleared the scene more than an hour later.

Peebles said the cause is undetermined, and the fire burned some of the outside and inside walls.

Red Cross was called because smoke flowed throughout the residence, he said.

No injuries were reported from the fire, Peebles said.
