Reco Crayton is passionate about the T-shirt business.

His passion is on display at his new storefront business, InkMade Custom T-Shirts and More, located at 806 N. Main St.

Crayton has been in the T-shirt business since 2016, he said. The COVID-19 pandemic shut his store down on East Louisville Avenue last year.

He said he’s been wanting to expand, and the doors opened for him to take advantage of the opportunity.

The new business not only makes custom T-shirts, but specializes in screen printing and sublimation. Sublimation is when an image is printed on shirt via heat press.

Additionally, InkMade does digital printing as well.

“Digital printing is sometimes similar to sublimation,” Crayton said. “Sublimation is normally done on polyester. Digital printing is printed on cotton shirts.”

Crayton said he also specializes in embroidery as well. Coffee mugs, wine glasses and water goblets are being sold at the business.

At present, InkMade is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
