Escambia County School System officials announced recently that schools will have staggered starts for the upcoming year.

Students with last names beginning with letters A-M will start on Mon., Aug. 9. Students with last names beginning with N-Z will start on Tues., Aug. 10.

All students will come to school beginning Aug. 11.

Pre-K and kindergarten stuents will have half days for their beginning of school.
