Emily Dykes has been promoted to the position of assistant vice president of mortgage operations at Gulf Winds, according to a release.

Dykes has served as the Atmore branch manager since 2017.

As the assistant vice president of mortgage operations, Dykes will oversee mortgage processing, mortgage servicing, underwriting and member services.

Since joining Gulf Winds as a teller in August 2009, Dykes has grown through the ranks holding positions including head teller, financial service representative, electronic transactions specialist, consumer loan processor and Atmore branch manager.

No matter the role, Dykes has proven herself to be a consummate professional and leader, dedicated to providing excellent service to members, Gulf Winds officials said in a release.

In 2020, she was named Best Banker in Atmore by the Atmore Advance. She is also active in the Atmore community as member of Lions Club, serving as treasurer for the past two years. 

“I am so proud to see Emily grow with our organization,” said Lee Ann Allen, vice president of regional sales. “Emily has built a strong team at the Atmore branch. Her dedication to the community and the membership is evident. She will be greatly missed, but I know that her leadership and organizational skills will be integral in moving our Mortgage Operations team forward.”
