EA to stagger school start

Escambia Academy announced today on its Facebook page a staggered start to the 2021-22 school year.
Grades K4-sixth will begin on Mon., Aug. 16; grades 7-12 will use a rolling start using the following schedule:
• Tuesday, August 17, seventh grade
• Wednesday August 18, eighth grade and freshmen start
• Thursday August 19, sophomores start
• Friday August 20, juniors and seniors start
Schedules, lockers and parking stickers can be picked up and assigned at the following times:
• Aug. 17 – freshmen from 10 a.m. until noon
• Aug. 18 – sophomores from 10 a.m. until noon
• Aug. 19 – juniors from 10 a.m. until noon
• Aug. 19 – seniors from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
• Seventh and eighth graders will be assigned lockers on the first day of school.
