At approximately 4:56 p.m. Monday, August 9, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) was notified of a traffic crash involving two tractor-trailers on Interstate 65 northbound at the 29 mile marker, according to officials.

Both northbound lanes of I-65 in that area are closed at this time.

ALEA will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
