Betty Carol Smith, 65, of Atmore, passed away on Aug. 14, 2021 in Bay Minette.

She was born to the late Charles and Leatrice Conway Stacey on Sept. 15, 1955 in Uriah.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Nelda Pastorcich and Linda Jane Stacey.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Smith of Atmore; son, Jamie (Jamie) Boatwright of Perdido; daughter, Julia (Daniel) Biggs of Bay Minette; one brother, Charles “Buddy” (Lisa) Stacey of McCullough; one sister, Marie (Ross) Brown of Phillipsville; five grandchildren, Cole (Victoria) Boatwright, Korey (Tyler) Biggs, Keegan (Sara) Biggs, Wyatt Boatwright and Dru Boatwright; and three great-grandchildren, Zoei, Lakelyn and Kaston.

Funeral services will be held today, Wed., Aug. 18, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Sanks officiating. Interment will follow in McCullough Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Aug. 18, 2021 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
