Huntsville woman arrested on robbery charge

A Huntsville woman was arrested and charged on a robbery charge this afternoon, according to the Atmore Police Department.
Chief Chuck Brooks said Therease A. Fletcher, 30, of Huntsville, is being charged with robbery I.
Brooks said in a release that the incident occurred today, at around 3:15 p.m.
“The Atmore Police Department responded to Walmart located on North Main Street in response to an armed robbery of the store,” Brooks said. “Atmore units immediately responded and made contact with officials from the store. Walmart officials said a female walked up to the service desk and advised the cashier she was armed with a weapon and demanded cash. The female suspect then fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.”
Brooks said officers located Fletcher in a wooded area behind Oak Hill Cemetery.
