A cool evening and quality food from Atmore highlight the annual Taste of the South event tonight at Heritage Park.
A big crowd turned out for the event, which has local residents, businesses and organizations share their best cuisine.
Winners of the taste event were selected in five categories from the tasters, or participants. The categories include drink, commercial, dessert, amateur and decorated booth.
The winners included:
• Drink – The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce Youth Ambassadors
• Commercial – 30 Below Ice Cream
• Dessert – Atmore Nursing Center
• Amateur – Waves Car Wash
• Decorated Booth – TripTek Construction LLC
