“We’ve ran the ball well all year, and we found a way to do two steps forward, and then three steps back.”

Mason said this win is a spark.

“We just needed a spark. That’s what we wanted. We wanted some good things to happen, and it did,” he said, adding that the team did shoot itself in the foot sometimes during the contest. “We’ve got to play smarter than that. You can’t do these things against really good teams.”

“It’s unreal,” Mason said when asked about playing at home next week. “It’s hard to play every week on the road. It’s tough. We’re excited to play at home in front of the home crowd. It’s a big thing for us.”
