CANCELED: ALEA issues amber alert out of Shorterville

UPDATE: The missing person has been located, and the amber alert has been canceled, according to reports.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency today issued an amber alert out of Shorterville for a black female, age 15.

According to the alert, the state issued a child abduction emergency amber alert for the public’s assistance in locating Adrianna C. Griffin, a black female, with a scar on her left eyebrow.

Griffin was last seen on Sept. 30, 2021, at Abbey Creek in Shorterville, and is believed to be in extreme danger.

Griffin is believed to have been abducted by an unknown white male wearing a maroon hoodie. The abductor is believed to be in mid to late teens or early 20s, according to ALEA.
