Chevron shooting suspect turns self in

The suspect wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred on Aug. 31 at the Chevron gas station in Atmore has turned himself in, according to the Atmore Police Department.

Chief Chuck Brooks said Ke’Darieon Rabb, of Frisco City, has been charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle.

According to Advance archives, the gas station attendant called the police after hearing gun shots outside of the gas station on South Main Street.

“Officers arrived and found a gas pump nozzle lying on the ground,” he said. “Also found was spent shell casings. No injuries have been reported.”

Brooks said those who were involved fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival.
