Betty Joyce (Bartley) Black, 84, of Mission, Texas, passed away on Sept. 8, 2021.

She was born on March 4, 1937, in Walnut Hill, Fla. to Milage and Glady Bartley.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael M. Black; daughter, Elizabeth Slay; brother, Pete Bartley; and sister, Barbara Ann Bartley.

She is survived by her children, Trent Faircloth, and his wife, Anani of Mission, Marcia Wiseman of Mission and Keefe Faircloth and his wife, Cindy of Muskogee, Okla.; her sister, Martha Stacey of Atmore; grandchildren, Selena Phillips Hutton of Pensacola, Fla., Jason Phillips of Pensacola, Tabitha Stephens of Ft. Gibson, Okla., Haley Gray of Muskogee and Miranda Gonzales of Tulsa, Okla.; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorial graveside services will be held this Fri., Oct. 8, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Walnut Hill Baptist Cemetery with the Rev Ted Bridges officiating.
