FHP still looking for info regarding pedestrian death

The Florida Highway Patrol is still seeking information that could lead to the location of a vehicle that was involved in the death of a pedestrian on Oct. 1.

According to a release, a 24-year-old Gulf Breeze, Fla. man was within the eastbound travel lane of County Road 399 when he was struck by an unknown eastbound vehicle, which left the scene, at approximately 4:22 a.m. The pedestrian died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision, accrding to the FHP.

FHP officials said if anyone has any information or believes a vehicle has received possible front end damage that may be consistent with crashing into a pedestrian, they’d like to follow up.
