Nona Pearl Dempsey Jones, 84, born in Bay Minette, and a resident of the Phillipsville Community died on October 2, 2021 at North Baldwin Infirmary.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert D. Jones of Phillipsville; two sons, Gene (Jackie) Milstid of Molino, Fla. and William (Lanell) Jones of San Tan Valley, Ariz.; grandchildren, Melissa (Travis) Hicks, Michelle (Kirby) Carpenter, Rebecca (Zach) Moorer, Jonathan Jones, Nathaniel Jones and Kathrine Jones; great-grandchildren, Keira Hicks, Keith Hicks, Madison Glatfelter, Amanda Garcia, Rachel Carpenter and Carrie Carpenter; and great-great grandchildren, Alice Nix and Remington Nix.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Bryant Dempsey Sr. and Pearle Wallace Dempsey; and two brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services and burial will be held tomorrow, Wed., Oct. 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Bay Minette Cemetery with the Rev. Judd Coggin and the Rev. Pat Poole officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Perdido United Methodist Church.
