Mrs. Mary D. Finklea Moody, 59, of Atmore, answered the master’s call on Thurs., Oct. 7, 2021 at Mobile Infirmary.

Those whom she joins in her heavenly home are her father, Curtis Finklea Sr.; and her brother, Curtis Finklea Jr.

Those who are left to cherish memories of her life include her husband, Timothy Moody of Atmore; two daughters, Shemecka Finklea and Shaforya Williams, both of Millbrook; one son, Eddie Montgomery Jr.; her mother and step-father, Bessie and Joe Richard Hill of Atmore; eight sisters, Annice Mims, Annette Johnson, Diana Finklea, Melissa Smith (all of Atmore), Jeanette Meggon of Foley, Jeanell Walker of Bay Springs, Miss., Angela Armstrong of Atmore and Cassandra Sanders of Villa Rica, Ga.; one brother, Tommy Finklea of Pascagoula, Miss.; and four grandchildren.

A walk through viewing will be held this Fri., Oct. 15, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be this Sat., Oct. 16, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Stallworth Cemetery with Prophet Shawn Williams officiating and Turner Funeral Chapel directing.

Face masks and social distancing are required.
