EA boys, girls split at Northview

Three Escambia Academy boys basketball players finished in double figures to help lead the Cougars to a 64-49 victory over Northview on Friday night.
Landon Sims led with 26 points, Bubba Nettles added 18 and Charlie Sasser contributed with 10. Nettles aded five rebounds and six steals and assists each in the win.
EA led 17-9 after the first period, 31-18 at halftime and 54-29 at the end of the third period.
In girls action, Northview won 43-20.
Madalyn Grimes led NHS with 17 points. Kaitlin Gafford had 16.
Lillie Lanham scored 10 points.
In B-team action, EA won 30-23.
Marrion Hooks led with eight points, and ST Clark scored seven.
