Mr. Phillip Dashawn Smith, 39, of Pensacola, Fla., answered the master’s call on Dec. 7, 2021 at Jay Hospital in Jay, Fla.

Those left to cherish memories of his life are his mother, Dororhy Jean Smith of Pensacola; his father, Jerry Johnson; two daughters, Zy’Kiraya Smith and Phallon Smith both of Pensacola; four sons, Phillip Smith, Mekhi Smith, Malik Smith all of Pensacola, and Caysen Smith of Century, Fla.; a brother, Lacil D. Smith of Pensacola; and two grandchildren.

Public walk through viewing will be held this Fri., Dec. 17, 2021 from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held this Sat., Dec. 18, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Empowerment Tabernacle Christian Center, 514 Peachtree St., Atmore with Bishop Darryl North, pastor, officiating. Inhumation will be In Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.

Face masks are required and social distancing will be implemented.
