Joe E. McKinley, 69, of Mobile, passed away on Dec. 21, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Eddie McKinley; his mother, Bernice Jones McKinley Hilburn; and his step-father, David (Buddy) Hilburn.

He is survived by his sons, Scott (Jenniffer) McKinley of Vocation, Steve (Nichole) McKinley of Uriah and Nicholas (Ashley) McKinley of Saraland; eight grandchildren, Clay (Hannah) McKinley, Kori McKinley, Zach McKinley, Emily McKinley, Trenton McKinley, Kylee McKinley, Colton Beech and Bailey McKinley; one great-grandchild, Evie McKinley; two brothers, Charles (Wanda) Hilburn Sr. and Glenn (Dawn) Hilburn; three sisters, Wanda (Lonnie) Carlisle, Brenda (Robert) Wilkerson and Diane (Thomas) Shepard; along with nine nephews, two nieces, 11 great-nephews and eight great-nieces.

Graveside memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
