Escambia Academy beat Atmore Christian School 70-32 on Dec. 30 at home.

The Cougars (5-3) led 14-7 after the first period, 38-14 at halftime and 59-24 at the end of the third period.

Landon Sims led EA with 14 points, four rebounds and six assists. Bubba Nettles and Kanye Hooks scored 12 points each. Nettles added six assists, and Hooks had seven rebounds.

Charlie Sasser added nine points in the win.

Atmore Christian’s Caeden Battles led with 11 points, and Emmett Battles contributed with nine points.
