Three Escambia Academy boys basketball players finished in double figures Thursday night as the Cougars defeated Northview 43-31 in Canoe.
Landon Sims led with 14 points, and Bubba Nettles and Charlie Sasser scored 10 points each in the win.
EA outscored NHS 18-7 in the second period to take a 23-10 lead at the break.
The Chiefs outscored EA 21-20 in the second half.
Sasser and Nettles added seven rebounds each. Nettles had six steals.
Northview’s Aiden Broadhead led the Chiefs with 10 points.
In junior varsity action, EA won 43-28.
Ty McCants and Cameron Ball led the Cougars with 12 points each.
