Mr. Wilbert “Frank” Boggan, 78, of Atmore, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Wed., Jan. 12, 2022 at the North Mobile Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Those who await his heavenly arrival are his parents, Clemmon and Ruby Boggan; his daughter, Veronica Yvette Boggan Orange; his sisters, Ethel Jennings and Alma Shoots; his brothers, Johnny Mack Boggan and Willie Boggan; mother in law, Ruby M. McCants; and sister in law, Mary Louise Collier.

Those left to cherish memories of his life are his living wife of 49 years, Urla McCants Boggan; a daughter, Alana Boggan of Montgomery; three sons, Jeffrey (Catherine) Moore of Poolesville, Md., Terry Norman and Richard Pleasant of Pensacola, Fla.; four sisters, Elizabeth Johnson, Mattie Boggan, Clara (Sam) Dubose and Debra Ann Peoples of Flint, Mich.; a brother, Calvin (Maybelle) Boggan; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Graveside service will be held today, Tues., Jan. 18, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Cleitus Walker, pastor, Gaines Chapel AME Church, officiating.

Turner Funeral Chapel is directing.
