Mrs. Vera Mae Rice, 91, passed away on Wed., Jan. 19, 2022 in Jay, Fla.

She was born in Bay Minette, and has resided most of her life in Flomaton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Robert Adams and Clara (Williams) Adams; one son, Dale Johnson; and three husbands, Febra Johnson, Nathan Savage and James Rice.
She is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn (Randy) Buckhault, of Brewton and Virginia (Chuck) Edwards, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two grandchildren, Shelley Victor and Nathan Edwards; two great-grandchildren, Phillip Victor and Dakota Victor; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held this Sun., Jan. 23, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC with Sis. Ester Blair Parker officiating.
Burial will follow at Flomaton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held tomorrow, Sat., Jan. 22, 2022 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Chris Flower, Kevin Morris, Phillip Victor, Dakota Victor, Waylon Parker and Gary Buckhault.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Edwards, and Randy Buckhault.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
