“Friends don’t let friends die without Jesus.” These were the last words Dawn Maggert posted on social media, and they are words she truly lived by.

Dawn Marie (Fisher) Maggert, who went home to be with her savior at her home on Friday, January 21, was a beloved wife, mother, friend and second mom to many.

Dawn is survived by her husband, Mark; four sons, Kristopher (and wife), Nickolas, Mitchel and RJ; one daughter, Kaylee; along with five grandchildren.

Her biological parents are Dan Fisher (deceased) and Sharon Fisher. She also had three biological siblings, Danny Fisher, Dennis Fisher and David Fisher.

Dawn also dearly loved her foster parents, Lee Hochstetler (deceased) and Sally Hochstetler and siblings.

Visitation in Atmore will take place at 10 a.m. today, Wed., Jan. 26 at Grace Fellowship with a funeral service following at 11 a.m.

In Bemidji, visitation will take place at 10 a.m. on Wed., Feb. 2 at Evangelical Free Church with a funeral service at 11 a.m.
