Miss Helen Ann Nelson was called to her heavenly home on Jan. 22, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and (Annie Lee Stokes) Nelson; one sister, Dorothy Lee Nelson Martin; one brother, Howard Paul Nelson; and her nephew, Richard Leon “Ricky” McGhee Jr.
Miss Helen is survived by Eloise Nelson (Harold) Peacock, of Atmore, Joy Nelson (Pete) Smith, of Perdido, Rhonda Kay (Melton) Kendrick, of Atmore, Latisha Smith (Jason) Hadley, of Perdido, Melissa Kendrick (Brian) Davison of Atmore, Stephanie Kendrick (Larry, Jr.) Paul, of Atmore, Christine (Mark) McClure of Jacksonville, Fla., Tiffany Jones (Brian) Benfield of Panama City, Fla., Angela McGhee (Jamie) Mondaco of Atmore, Anna (Alan) Evanoff of Pensacola, Fla.; and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held this Thurs., Jan. 27, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC, with the Rev. Don Sanks officiating.
Burial will follow at Flomaton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held today, Wed., Jan. 26, 2022 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC.
