Escambia County EMA Director David Adams said the area has been upgraded to an enhanced risk of severe weather for tomorrow, Fri., March 18.

Adams said the main threats include tornadoes, damaging winds and large hail. He added that the exact timing has some uncertainties, and to prepare for the possibility throughout the day.

According to the National Weather Service, there’s a 100 percent chance of severe thunderstorms for the Atmore area.
