“The investigator contacted the driver, later identified as, Donald Barnhill, age 60, of Atmore,” McMann said. “Barnhill was extremely nervous while speaking with the investigator. The investigator observed that Barnhill had a pill bottle cap in his hand with an empty pill bottle laying in the passenger floorboard along with a torn clear corner from a plastic bag laying next to it.”

McMann said when Barnhill was asked to exit the vehicle, the investigator searched him and found several crack cocaine rocks in his shirt pocket.

Barnhill was transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
