The Atmore City Council approves board of zoning adjustments and planning commission appointments at its meeting on Monday.

Those reappointed to the board of zoning included Voncile Stallworth and Chapman Maxwell.

Those appointed to the planning commission included Angela Leachman and Lori Stinson.

In other business, the city:

• heard a presentation by City Councilwoman Eunice Johnson, who said thanks to Wind Creek Atmore, an essential pandemic package will be held May 28, at Houston Avery Park, at 9 a.m. for the first 200 people. Hygiene products will be given away.
