Escambia County, Fla. property taxes must be paid by April 29

Scott Lunsford, Escambia County Tax Collector, reminds everyone that all 2021 unpaid real estate and tangible personal property taxes must be paid and receipted by 4:30 p.m. on April 29 in office or online by midnight on April 30 to avoid being advertised as delinquent. Drop box payments made by midnight April 30 will be accepted at the April rate but will be advertised in the newspaper.

The delinquent advertisement will be published in the Pensacola News Journal on May 12, 19 and 26. This list will be available on the certificate sale website LienHub.com on May 5.

Payments must be processed:

  • online by midnight CDT, Saturday, April 30
  • in person at any of our four convenient tax collector offices by 4:30 p.m. CDT, Friday, April 29
  • by phone – call 850-438-6500, ext. 3252 by 4:30 p.m. CDT, Friday, April 29
  • drop box payments made after close of business on Friday, April 29, will be credited at the April rate but will be advertised in the newspaper.
