Paula Helton Daniel, 85, of Atmore, passed away on May 4, 2022 in Atmore.

She was born on November 15, 1936 to George Everette and Mazie Lee Conway Helton.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Paul Helton and Jimmy Helton.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Raymond Daniel; her sons, Chad Paul Daniel of Houston, Texas, Nathan Ray (Cyndi) Daniel of Bratt, Fla. and Scott A. (Susanne) Daniel of Mobile; her daughter, Cyndi D. (Mike) Stacey of Atmore; her grandchildren, Lauren Stacey, Blake Daniel, Dex Daniel and Dalton Ray Daniel; and her great grandchildren, Tazden Fay and Taven Fay.

Funeral services were held on May 7, 2022 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel in Atmore with Robby Jaye officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Don Jackson, Stan Spears, Greg Odom, Dex Daniel, Dalton Daniel, Blake Daniel and Mike Ward.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
