EA’s Smith signs track, field scholarship to University of Mobile

“Raised Cougar strong. Blessed to become a RAM.”
That’s what was written on a rally towel a short distance away from Escambia Academy’s Hunter Smith this morning as he signed a track and field scholarship to the University of Mobile.
Smith is the second EA athlete to sign a track and field scholarship since 2015, when Maleek Salter signed on the dotted line.
“I just want to thank God, and my family and my coaches for their help getting me to this point,” Smith said. “Go RAMs.”
Smith is the son of Allen and Pam Smith.
