Mrs. Gaylen Hood Lambert, 77, passed away on Fri., May 20, 2022, in Mobile.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis (Alma Lilly) Hood; one son, James Kevin Lambert; one sister, Sue Hood Chunn; sister in law, Robert and Sue Edge; brother-in law, Buddy Baker; and mother and father in law, Lindsey and Clemis Lambert.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Rodger Lambert, of Goodway; two sons, Lowell Lambert, of Monroeville and Joel (Shelia) Lambert, of Daphne; one sister, Martha Jean Baker, of Atmore; three grandchildren, Michael James Lambert, Lindsey Lambert and Lucas Lambert; one brother in law, TL Chunn, of Uriah; and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held Tues., May 24, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC with the Rev. Randy Davis and Rev. Kerry Burroughs officiating.
Burial will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Mon., May 23, 2022 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC.
